1. Who we are

This privacy policy explains how the mobile app Color Water Sort (Android package com.arkazorgames.watersort, “the app”) handles information. The app is published on Google Play under the developer name Arkazor Games. Arkazor Games is the publisher name of Ilga Ongunsu, an individual developer in Türkiye, who is responsible for the app and is the data controller for the processing described here (“we”, “us”).

Contact: support@arkazorgames.com. More details are in our legal notice.

2. Summary

  • The app has no account and no sign-up. It never asks for your name, e-mail address, phone number, contacts, photos or location.
  • We do not operate any server for the app. Your progress, settings and statistics are saved only on your device; we never receive them.
  • The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. To show ads, Google processes data such as your device’s advertising ID and IP address. Personalised ads are only shown if you agree; otherwise you only see non-personalised ads.
  • We do not sell personal data and do not use it for any purpose other than those described below.

3. Data stored only on your device

To work, the app saves the following in its private storage on your device:

  • Your preferences (sound, music, vibration, colour-blind mode, language) and unlocked tube styles and backgrounds.
  • Your level progress and stars, and simple statistics shown in the in-app journal (levels solved, streaks, daily puzzles, badges).
  • A cache of generated puzzles so levels load quickly.
  • Technical flags, such as whether you have seen the welcome tour and your ad privacy choice.

This data is not uploaded, not sent to us or to advertisers, and not used for advertising. We cannot see or access it. You can erase it at any time with Settings → Reset in the app (where available), by clearing the app’s storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. Because there is no account or cloud backup operated by us, this data cannot be restored after it is erased, and it may be lost if you change or reset your device.

Sharing the app: If you use Share app, your device’s share menu sends a short text with the app’s Google Play link through the app you choose. We do not receive anything.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free because it shows banner ads, full-screen ads at natural breaks, and optional reward videos. The ads are delivered by the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) built into the app. Google (Google LLC, and for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited) delivers the ads and decides how the data it collects is used for its own purposes; for those purposes Google acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

When ads are requested and shown, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

  • Device and app identifiers: your device’s advertising ID (which you can reset or delete), the app set ID and similar identifiers;
  • IP address and the approximate (city-level) location that can be derived from it;
  • Device and app information: device model, operating system version, language, screen size, network type, app name and version;
  • Ad interactions: which ads were shown, taps on ads, whether a reward video was watched to the end;
  • Diagnostics: technical data about the ad SDK’s performance and errors.

The app does not request location permission and cannot access your device’s location (GPS, Wi-Fi or mobile network). Google can only estimate an approximate, city-level location from your IP address.

Google uses this data to deliver ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, to measure ads and report aggregated results, to detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and — only if you allow it — to show personalised ads based on your interests. We, the developer, do not receive your advertising ID, your IP address or any data that identifies you from Google; we only see aggregated reports (for example the number of ads shown per country and the resulting earnings).

More information: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and How Google uses advertising.

Reward videos are always optional. In this app you can watch one to get extra undos, a hint, an extra empty tube or unlock a style. Rewards exist only inside the app and have no monetary value.

Ad content. We set the maximum ad content rating in the app to “PG” (parental guidance recommended) and block sensitive categories in AdMob (for example gambling and betting, dating and alcohol). The ads themselves are created by third-party advertisers. When you tap an ad you leave the app and go to a website or app of the advertiser, whose own terms and privacy policy apply. See also our terms of use.

5. Your ad choices

  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app shows Google’s consent form (based on the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) before ads are loaded. Ads are only personalised if you agree there. Google’s consent form uses standard wording shared by all apps and lists the purposes of Google and its advertising partners, which may include the use of precise geolocation data. Because our apps do not request location permission, your device’s precise location cannot be obtained through these apps; at most an approximate location derived from your IP address is used.
  • Everywhere else, including Türkiye, the app shows its own short question the first time ads are about to load: whether Google may use the data above to show personalised ads. If you say no or close the question, only non-personalised ads are requested. Non-personalised ads are chosen based on context (such as the app and your general location), not on a profile of you; Google still uses the data for delivery, frequency capping, measurement and fraud prevention as described above.
  • You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
  • On your device you can reset or delete your advertising ID and manage Android’s ad features under Settings → Google → Ads and Settings → Privacy → Ads (names may differ by device).
  • The app works the same whatever you choose. The only way to avoid ads entirely is not to use the app; ads are also not loaded while your device is offline.

6. Google Play and Android

You download the app from Google Play, which is operated by Google under its own terms and privacy policy. Google Play gives us aggregated statistics (for example the number of installs per country) and, if you have allowed your device to share usage and diagnostics data with Google, technical crash and performance reports (for example device model, Android version and the technical cause of a crash). These reports do not contain your name or contact details; we use them only to fix errors. If you write a public review on Google Play, your review and the public name you use there are visible to us and to others, and we may reply publicly.

On devices that support it, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may use Android’s ad services (Privacy Sandbox: advertising ID, Topics and attribution reporting) and the Google Play Install Referrer service. You can manage these in your device’s privacy settings.

7. If you contact us

If you write to us by e-mail, we process your e-mail address, your name (if you provide it) and the content of your message only to answer you and handle your request, including any request about your rights.

8. Legal bases

For users in Türkiye, we process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”); for users in the EEA and the UK, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) / UK GDPR.

  • Personalised ads: your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5(1); GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Non-personalised ads, frequency capping, measurement and fraud prevention: our legitimate interest in offering the app free of charge and keeping advertising secure, which we have weighed against your interests and limited to what is necessary (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, storing and reading information on your device for ads is based on the choices you make in Google’s consent form.
  • Answering your messages and requests: establishing and performing our relationship with you, our legal obligation to answer data protection requests and our legitimate interest in providing support (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c), (ç) and (f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), (c) and (f)).
  • Crash reports from Google Play: our legitimate interest in keeping the app working (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects.

9. Recipients and international transfers

The only recipient of data from the app is Google (for advertising, Google Play and Android services as described above). Google may process data on servers in the United States and other countries. For users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. For users in Türkiye, transfers abroad are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK. Apart from this, we only disclose data if we are legally required to do so, for example to a court or a public authority.

10. How long data is kept

  • Data on your device: until you erase it, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app.
  • Your ad privacy choice: on your device until you change it or uninstall the app.
  • Data processed by Google: according to Google’s retention policies (policies.google.com/technologies/retention).
  • E-mails: as long as needed to handle your request and then for up to two years so that we can show how it was handled, unless the law requires longer. Afterwards they are deleted.

11. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information about it; learn the purpose of the processing and whether data is used accordingly; know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction under Article 7; request that third parties be notified of such correction or deletion; object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent.

How to apply: write to support@arkazorgames.com with your name, a way to reach you, the app concerned and your request. You can also apply in writing to our postal address@if (!string.IsNullOrWhiteSpace(s.KepAddress)) { or by registered electronic mail (KEP) to }, as set out in our KVKK information notice. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We answer free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest (KVKK Art. 13); under the GDPR within one month.

Please note: because the app sends us no data, we usually hold no data about you and cannot identify you. Data on your device is under your control (see section 3). Data processed by Google can be managed with Google’s tools, such as resetting your advertising ID; you can also contact Google directly.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (kvkk.gov.tr) within the periods set by Article 14 of the KVKK, or, if the GDPR applies, to the data protection authority of your country.

12. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because the app has no account and sends us no data, we do not hold data about any user, including children. Ads in the app are limited to the “PG” rating. If you are under the age at which you can consent to data processing in your country (for example 16 in many EU countries), please ask a parent or guardian to make the ad choice for you. Parents can reset or delete the device’s advertising ID in the device settings.

13. Permissions

  • Internet and network state: only to load ads.
  • Advertising ID and Android ad services: added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK for ads (see sections 4–6).
  • Vibration: vibration for gentle haptic feedback. You can turn it off in the app’s settings.
  • Keep the screen on: so the screen does not switch off while the app is in use.

The app does not use the camera, microphone, contacts, location (GPS), photo library, phone or notifications, and it does not record audio.

14. Security

Data on your device is kept in the app’s private storage, protected by Android’s app sandbox. Communication between the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google is encrypted by Google. We keep e-mail correspondence in an account protected by a strong password and two-factor authentication. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the small amount of data involved.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when the app or the law changes. The current version is always available at this address with its “last updated” date. If a change significantly affects how data is processed, we will inform you in the app or in the store listing before it takes effect, and ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
